There are lots of reasons for joining a choir like the St Marys Singers, but we think the popular reasons are as follows:

• We sing in probably the most magnificent venue in Sydney! A bold statement that the Opera House may argue with, but we invite you to come and see us next time we perform and judge for yourself.
• We rotate our material every six weeks, so you get to sing new songs on a regular basis.
• We perform a repertoire of truly beautiful music.
• The choir has an established core of singers that have been performing with the choir for years and provide a backbone of support that keeps the choir solid and keeps the pace of learning fast.
• We practice for only 1.5 hours every Monday night from 6.30pm, which means you get home for dinner at a reasonable hour! Practice is at the cathedral, close to the Sydney metro.
